Before suffering from a war, Yugoslavia was a country with a strong background in terms of music. And thanks to the blogosphere, it's possible to acknowledge it today.
Rock was big in the 80's. But before that there was jazz, local folk of course. So, for modern music, head to Experimental Etc. For older (I mean much much older) stuff, Sa Starog Gramofona is the place to go to.
