Ecoutez Le Cinéma.

Founded eleven years ago under the tutelage of Universal and Emarcy, the "Ecoutez Le Cinéma" (meaning "Listen To The Cinema") series is a vault of unreleased/out of print/classic movie soundtracks. We're talking mainly French oldies here, but the names of composers reedited is simply impressive. Over the years, "Ecoutez Le Cinéma" has released the unforgotten works of Georges Delerue, François De Roubaix, Eric Demarsan, Serge Gainbourg, Michel Colombier, Michel Magne, Michel Legrand, Philippe Sarde, Maurice Jarre, and the list goes on. The selection is so meticulous that the series has attracted a real cult.

The latest installments of the collection showcase the talents of Michel Polnareff (boxset to be released on November 7th) and of the artistic movement called "Nouvelle Vague".

No vinyl here, but only reeditions on CD's, with booklets in both French and English.
